We haven’t had to walk through the floods too much yet but the rainy season is just getting started. I don’t know how bad the floods are here in Tepeji though. The assistants came to study with us on Friday. It was just a 2 hour question and answer session but basically they told us that they weren’t going to tell us how to lead the zone, that was for us to seek revelation and find out for ourselves. I think that President Titensor is maybe trying to get rid of some of the old traditions in the mission so that the leaders don’t just do what they have always done. It has been really cool though. I am enjoying my mission more than ever because I feel like I have been able to grow a lot and focus completely on other people. There have been some times in my mission that I have been a little discouraged because we have so many more rules than other missionaries, like not being able to get together and play on preparation days, but I have been a lot less focused on that lately and more focused on how I can help the people in my area and the missionaries in my zone. We have a couple investigators that the elders before left us, but we are trying to find a lot and work with the members. We are going to try a few new things here in this area in order to get different results. We really want to work with the members because it is really important that they participate in the missionary work. This week is going to be super busy. We have the mission leadership council meeting on Wednesday, and then the zone meeting on Thursday, so we are going to have to work really hard to get prepared for that and also take care of our area. I’m pretty excited but also kind of nervous, so hopefully everything goes well. Well that’s pretty much everything. Other than that, we have pretty much been running around all over the zone (it’s pretty big, we have 28 missionaries and about 45 minutes by bus to get to most of the places we need to go), doing interviews, and taking care of business. Its a little stressful, but really satisfying and a lot of fun! Also, I went to the first district meeting in 7 months that I didn’t teach! That was pretty fun to see how the other district leaders teach and I learned a lot from that! I really love this area and this is an awesome time in my mission! I love you all and hope you have a great week!
